Here to Help You Heal

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with diagnostic privilege, six years of experience, and the ability to provide therapy in both English and Spanish, my work is centered on helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, depression, grief, complex trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. With a particular focus on the unique experiences of BIPOC individuals and couples, my practice is a space where every person who walks through the door is seen, respected, and valued.

Whatever brings you here, you deserve care that honors the fullness of who you are. Building our relationship at your pace matters deeply to me, and you can always show up as your complete self. That foundation is what allows me to truly be an attuned and supportive partner in your care. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more grounded and more in control of your life.

My Approach to Care

Healing happens when we begin to tune into the wisdom our bodies already hold and start making small, meaningful shifts in our awareness and our lives. That belief is at the heart of how I practice. Drawing from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic and trauma-informed approaches, my style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and always tailored to your unique pace, values, and experience.

You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where your goals and needs shape the direction of our sessions. Whether you're working through emotional overwhelm, processing past experiences, or simply looking for steadier footing, we'll move toward helping you feel more grounded, regulated, and at ease in your own life.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a therapist grew from a deep curiosity about how the mind and body respond to stress and how those responses ripple through everyday life. That curiosity evolved into a true calling – the more I understood the connection between stress, the nervous system, and lived experience, the more committed I became to offering mindfulness-based, body-aware, trauma-informed care.

This perspective continues to shape how I show up in every session, where I bring a calm and attuned presence with a focus on helping you feel more connected, regulated, and empowered on your path forward.

Personal Interests

Outside of sessions, I find balance and inspiration through reading, writing, music, and theater. Tending to my indoor garden is another quiet joy, a small practice of care and patience that, in many ways, mirrors the work I'm privileged to do with you.
