Here to Help You Heal

I'm Amanda MacLeod, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant who treats patients with a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, depression, and other mood disorders, with additional clinical interests in treatment-resistant conditions, complex trauma, and behavioral concerns. Guided by a belief in patient and community advocacy, I provide compassionate care while inspiring active change through shared decision-making.

My Approach to Care

I emphasize a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, integrating holistic internal medicine, patient education, medication management, and preventative care to support and sustain overall health and well-being. Specializing in psychopharmacology and psychodynamic therapy, I also have experience with advanced treatment modalities, including pharmacogenetic testing and psychiatric evaluations.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

Originally from Kansas, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas, I pursued my post-graduate education in Arizona. There, I earned my M.M.Sc. in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University before eventually settling in Denver, Colorado, with my husband and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels – Eevee and Peach. I appreciate being closer to family and exploring the natural beauty of Colorado.

Personal Interests

In my free time, I enjoy music, concerts, sports, reading, anime/manga, crafting, cozy hobbies, and, of course, binge-watching TV shows/movies.
