If you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic pain, disordered eating, or a difficult life transition, you deserve a provider who meets you where you are. I've spent more than 10 years working with teens, young adults, and adults, including particular experience supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, people with neurodivergence, and women.
What matters most to me is bringing a kind and gentle heart to understanding why you're seeking therapy in the first place. I believe one of the most important values a provider can hold is to remain compassionate toward whomever they're working with. Alongside you, I want to be a teammate as you discover the healing power you already hold within yourself. I may serve as a guide along the journey of therapy, but healing ultimately comes from within.
Healing is possible for anyone I work with, and that belief shapes everything I do in session. Empathy, authenticity, and compassion guide how I show up with you, alongside tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that help you challenge self-limiting beliefs and thinking traps and manage difficult emotions more effectively.
With me, you can expect a productive, empathic environment, and I try to bring a good sense of humor whenever it fits, especially in difficult conversations, because feeling comfortable with your therapist matters. I tailor my approach to your particular circumstances, because your story is unique to you.
My path to becoming a therapist began with a love of learning and curiosity about people and the stories of their lives, long before they ever meet me for the first time. That curiosity deepened into a commitment to providing genuine, trauma-informed, compassionate care. Through my own experiences as a human being, along with what I've learned in my work as a clinician, I bring a unique, fresh approach to each session.
Outside of the therapy room, I am a reiki master, and I enjoy keeping a regular spiritual and meditative practice. I also enjoy yoga, walks in nature, going to concerts, and lazy days at home hanging out with my 2 very spoiled cats.
