As an experienced mental health therapist, I help children, adolescents, and adults navigate stress, mood and anxiety disorders, emotional regulation, and the complexities of daily life, as well as executive functioning and life transitions. I take a collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered approach, supporting you as you deepen your self-understanding, build confidence, and create positive lasting change in your life. I look forward to guiding you in discovering your strengths and achieving your mental health goals.
I believe in creating a compassionate and nonjudgmental space, which helps me be your empowering and encouraging partner. Throughout our time together, you can expect a supportive and authentic environment that helps you discover your strengths and work toward meaningful change. We achieve this through approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness to build effective coping skills and navigate challenging emotions with greater ease.
An interest in psychology throughout high school led me to pursue a psychology degree in college. During undergrad, I worked at a clinic supporting children with autism, an experience that sparked my passion for mental health and started me along the path toward therapy. Since then, I’ve been working in the field, deepening my commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care while bringing empathy, patience, and curiosity to each session.
As a New York native, I love exploring DC in my free time. Whether I’m visiting new places or simply wandering around locally, there’s always something to do with friends. I also love reading fiction, relaxing on the TV, and playing the cello, which is one of my long-time personal passions!
