Do you or a loved one need help navigating trauma, emotional dysregulation, family conflict, a new mental health diagnosis, or any other challenges affecting your well-being? I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) specializing in addressing a range of challenges for adolescents and adults. While I work with patients from all walks of life who want to process trauma or work through grief, I am especially passionate about helping children, teens, and their parents.
Your child or teen may struggle with big feelings, explosive anger, shutdowns, elopement, school stress, processing trauma, the loss of a loved one, or other complicated grief. As their parent or caregiver, you may want to improve parenting skills or develop clearer communication, reduced conflict, healthier patterns at home, or a more connected family experience. No matter the need, I provide a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered after each session.
My approach is strengths-focused, evidenced-based, and creatively individualized for each patient’s goals. I look forward to being part of you and your family’s journey in feeling more confident, capable, and connected.
I believe healing starts with feeling deeply heard and supported, and continues as you build the skills and confidence to move forward. That’s why, working together, you can expect a validating, structured, and skill-building environment from the beginning. My style is warm and direct, with sessions tailored to your unique life story, current situation, and goals. Sessions may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and family systems interventions to help you regulate emotions, improve communication, and heal from stress or trauma.
My path to becoming a therapist began by working closely with families and youth whose trauma shaped their emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Seeing how layered each person’s story was helped me understand that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and how powerful it is when someone finally feels understood. This work, combined with my experiences as a clinician, have shown me that meaningful change and healing is possible for anyone with the right support.
I engage in a wide range of hobbies outside of work to keep me grounded, connected, and fulfilled. Some of my top choices include yoga, cross-stitching and French beading, traveling, taking long walks outside, playing board games with family, painting, cozy gaming, and listening to my favorite podcasts
