I believe every patient is the director of their own story, goals, and aspirations, and that belief shapes how I show up for you. As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), I use psychotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care to help children, adolescents, adults, and families work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional challenges, and life transitions.
This work calls for a supportive, empathetic, and collaborative partner, which is exactly the role I aim to fill, listening closely to each patient and letting their needs and goals guide our work together. I look forward to creating a safe space where you feel heard, empowered, and supported as you navigate your experiences and work toward the changes you hope to make.
Compassion, collaboration, and trauma-informed care guide everything I do in this work. I'm passionate about creating a space where you can heal, grow, and feel empowered to navigate life's challenges, and I want that space to feel nonjudgmental, safe, and supportive from our first session. To get there, I use a patient-centered approach that incorporates psychodynamic therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping you better understand yourself, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate challenges.
True to my belief that patients are active participants in their own healing, I work alongside you rather than simply providing answers. I also value showing up as my authentic self, creating a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, openness, and connection. Above all, I tailor my approach to your unique experiences, needs, and goals.
My path to becoming a therapist began with my experiences working with adults from diverse backgrounds and witnessing the impact that having a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space can have on a person's well-being. These experiences deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care. I bring a warm, empathetic, and culturally sensitive perspective to each session now, creating a space where adults feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life's challenges and work toward personal growth.
I love spending quality time with my family and loved ones, exploring new places around the city, and trying new restaurants and foods. Traveling, discovering new experiences, and finding time to relax and recharge are also high on my list.
