As a mental health counselor, I support adults and older adults in overcoming anxiety, depression, identity concerns, grief, and challenging life transitions, offering a safe, steady space for those feeling overwhelmed or unsure of their next steps. Together, we explore emotional patterns, build coping tools, and strengthen self-awareness, so you move forward with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of confidence while creating meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is collaborative, warm, and empowering, as I am passionate about helping you gain insight, build resilience, and foster growth and well-being in your everyday life. I look forward to supporting you as you develop the practical tools necessary to navigate life’s transitions and find greater balance.
I believe in approaching each person with empathy and understanding, creating a safe space to explore feelings and challenges. Our time together is held in a compassionate, supportive, and collaborative environment that is tailored to your goals. To achieve this, I use evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches to help you build resilience, self-awareness, and coping skills.
My path to becoming a therapist began as a teacher, where I realized my passion extended beyond academics to supporting students’ emotional and behavioral needs. This experience deepened my understanding of how early experiences shape well-being and strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate behavioral health care. Now, I bring this experience working with diverse age groups and perspectives to each session to ensure personalized high-quality care.
Outside of work, I enjoy going for walks, working out, reading, and spending quality time with my dog. I find these activities help me stay grounded, energized, and present, and I love bringing that sense of balance and well-being into my work with patients.
