Here to Help You Heal

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner trained to care for people across the lifespan, I specialize in supporting adolescents as well as perinatal individuals navigating the deeply personal journey of parenthood, whether you’re pregnant, trying to conceive, parenting, or processing perinatal loss. Through a combination of therapeutic interventions and medication management, I help you address both new and existing mental health diagnoses within the context of the major life transitions that shape who you are.

Life transitions – stepping into adulthood, becoming a parent, or facing unexpected loss – can challenge even the most resilient among us. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and partner with you to not only manage your mental health, but to also genuinely thrive. Guided by empathy, empowerment, and integrity, I’m here to help you define your goals and move toward them with confidence and clarity.

My Approach to Care

I believe that the best outcomes happen when you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your own care, which is why everything we do together is built around your unique needs and goals. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and welcoming environment where you are never just a diagnosis. My approach to care is collaborative, patient-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practice, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychotherapeutic tools to help you develop practical strategies for managing challenges and building the life you want.

I communicate directly and clearly, and you can always count on me to provide honest, thorough, evidence-based explanations of my assessments and recommendations. My commitment is not simply to help you cope, but to help you flourish in every aspect of your life.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My desire to make a difference in people's lives began long before my career in psychiatry. As a child, I spent my summers volunteering at a home for unhoused children with developmental and physical disabilities, an experience that instilled in me a deep sense of purpose and a lifelong commitment to serving others.

As I grew older, I witnessed firsthand the gap in access to psychiatric care within my own family and community. I saw how difficult it was for people to get the mental health support they needed, and how too often that meant ending up in an emergency room rather than receiving the consistent, compassionate primary psychiatric care they deserved. That reality shaped my path – I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner driven by the belief that every person deserves personalized, high-quality mental health care, and I carry this commitment into every session.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, you’ll find me traveling to new places, spending quality time with my family, crocheting, and getting lost in a good book. I also make time to volunteer in my community and to continue learning, whether that means exploring the latest research in psychiatry or deepening my understanding of holistic approaches to mental health and wellness. This curiosity and commitment to growth is something I bring into my work with you every day.
