Here to Help You Heal

With 15 years of clinical experience, my work is rooted in neurodivergent-affirming care and an intersectional lens that honors the full complexity of who you are, particularly for historically marginalized communities and people with a history of trauma. Whether you identify as neurotypical, neurodivergent, or neurodivergent-adjacent, this is a space built for you.

Together, we explore how your brain works and develop a deeper understanding of yourself through psychoeducation tailored to your experience. This includes support for autistic individuals, people with ADHD, those with learning differences, and those navigating co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. We also look at the broader picture: the systems and institutions you move through every day, and the very real ways those dynamics can shape your mental health and sense of self.

Transparency and authenticity are at the core of how I work. Building genuine trust is not just something I value; it’s something I believe makes therapy work. I look forward to supporting you in that work together.

My Approach to Care

Your brain is unique, and the strategies we build together should reflect that. My approach focuses on helping you find coping tools that genuinely fit the way you think and process, while also creating space to work through trauma, whether that includes PTSD, complex PTSD, childhood adversity, or other difficult life experiences.

At the heart of my practice is a person-centered environment built on mutual respect and a commitment to recognizing your strengths. As an integrative clinician, my core approach is humanistic and insight-oriented, with a psychodynamic foundation. When appropriate, I also draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) interventions to offer tools that are practical and grounded in your lived experience.

My style is personable and supportive, with the kind of directness that comes from genuine investment in your growth. You are the authority on your own experience, and my role is to offer context, perspective, and collaboration so that the insights you gain in our sessions become skills you carry with you beyond the therapy room.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to therapeutic care began with a deep desire to better understand my own family. That curiosity led me to a high school psychology course, and from the moment the subject clicked, I knew this was where I was meant to be. Telling myself that if there was one thing I could do for the rest of my life, it would be this work, I committed fully to the field.

This early spark has grown into a career shaped by education, professional experience, and the richness of lived experience as someone who holds multiple identities. Each of these layers informs how I show up for you in the room, bringing not just clinical expertise, but genuine understanding.

Personal Interests

Outside of the therapy room, I recharge through a mix of curiosity and creativity. Reading historical fiction, psychological thrillers, and nonfiction keeps my mind engaged, while people-watching in cafes, at public events, and in lounges reminds me of the richness of human experience. Listening to music, consuming art in its many forms, traveling, power walking, dancing, singing, and watching documentaries all bring balance and joy to my life beyond sessions.
