Here to Help You Heal

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, autism, life adjustments, and self-esteem for children, adolescents, and adults. In our work together, I'll help you navigate negative thought patterns and challenging life experiences.

Demonstrating empathy and compassion is what led me into this field, and it's what helps me be the therapist my patients feel comfortable and secure working with throughout their healing journey. With every patient, I aim to provide a warm, safe, and therapeutic space for healing while prioritizing their comfort and needs, and I value receiving feedback and collaboration along the way.

My Approach to Care

Seeking help isn’t always easy, but I believe it's never too late to start your journey of healing, growing, and changing. Together, we'll build a warm, comforting, and safe environment where that healing can happen.

Within that space, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you accept difficult feelings and thoughts, transform negative thought patterns, learn new coping skills, and create changes to behavior patterns that lead to healthier and happier experiences. Mental health is something I'm passionate about, which is why I always ensure an empathetic, holistic, accepting, and supportive approach tailored to your unique needs, challenges, experiences, and goals.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a therapist began with my career as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I gained four years of experience working with autistic children and adolescents, teaching communication, social skills, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and strategies for reducing challenging behaviors. This experience deepened my commitment to providing mental health services to a variety of different populations with many different problems.

My clinical experience has also included work with patients at inpatient mental health facilities, children's advocacy centers, and hospice settings, supporting patients and their family members. These experiences have given me a well-rounded foundation in the counseling field, along with the skills to work with a broad range of patients and mental health struggles.

Personal Interests

During my free time, I enjoy exercising, hiking, exploring nature, and discovering new cities and adventures. On quieter days at home, I like watching my favorite shows, reading books, and cooking and baking.
