Here to Help You Heal

With more than a decade of experience in healthcare, I'm a professional counselor who works with people of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults. Depression, anxiety, stress management, and identity-related challenges are where I focus my support, helping you navigate the mental and emotional shifts that affect your growth and identity.

I believe in innate dignity at all times, which shapes the empathetic, encouraging therapeutic relationship I build with you. Together, we can build a path toward flourishing.

My Approach to Care

My approach keeps treatment as simple as possible. Together, we build a roadmap by asking three questions: Where are you now? Where do you want to be? And how do you get there, in light of the challenges you're facing?

Your growth is something I'm passionate about, and I believe we're all striving to experience goodness and flourishing in every area of our lives. How we get there looks different for each of us, so my goal is to help you build the skills and perspectives you need to thrive in every situation.

That work happens in sessions that are lighthearted and engaging, designed to both challenge and encourage you. I draw on EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help build your confidence, which translates into a therapeutic style that's relaxed and empathetic, tailored to your unique blend of personal, professional, and social desires.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a therapist began as a traveling sports medicine professional. As I worked with athletes recovering from serious physical injuries, I learned that their ability to return to sport was not dictated by their body, but by their mind. This experience led me to engage fully with clinical mental health counseling, as each of us experiences challenges that can become obstacles or springboards. I bring a clinical perspective that considers the mental and the physical experiences of life to each session.

Personal Interests

Outside the therapy room, you’ll most often find me enjoying sporting and outdoor activities.
