If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, you're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out on your own.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my specialties include the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attention and behavioral concerns, and family-related mental health challenges for children, adolescents, and adults. Whether you're an individual seeking clarity around your symptoms or a family looking for support through a difficult season, my goal is to help you regain a sense of control, build lasting coping skills, and restore balance in your relationships and daily life.
Compassionate, nonjudgmental, patient-centered care is at the heart of everything I do. As a mother of five children, I also bring a deeply personal understanding of family dynamics, the weight of parenting, and the emotional challenges that arise within families. That lived experience shapes how I connect with parents and caregivers, and I bring both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to every session.
Care with me is collaborative, evidence-based, and built around you, as I’m passionate about creating a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to participate in your own healing. Together, we'll use evidence-based psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and a holistic approach tailored to your unique needs, goals, and life circumstances.
Your history, current stressors, strengths, and personal preferences all shape the treatment plan we develop together, because effective care should be both realistic and sustainable. Compassionate, practical, and nonjudgmental, this work is designed to support you toward emotional stability, symptom relief, and improved day-to-day functioning.
My path to becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner was shaped by what I witnessed working as a nurse: people struggling silently with anxiety, depression, and complex family dynamics, often without the support they needed. These experiences made my commitment clear. Providing compassionate, nonjudgmental mental health care that truly meets people where they are became both my calling and my standard. To every session, I bring empathy, clinical experience, and a deep respect for each person's story.
Outside of my professional life, spending time with my family is paramount. As a family, we love traveling and camping in our RV, exploring new places together, and making lasting memories. We enjoy small hikes that are manageable for our little ones with tired legs, as well as bike rides around campgrounds and local trails. In warmer weather, we spend time lounging by the pool, and in the winter, I reluctantly became a skier after my oldest daughter discovered a love for it.
