I'm a mental health counselor specializing in anxiety, ADHD, boundary setting, life transitions, trauma, and generational trauma in young adults and adults, particularly women of color and the LGBTQIA+ community. Together, we create structure, set boundaries, and navigate identity and life changes, including bouts of depression or the weight of past childhood trauma and grief.
Each patient brings their own unique life experiences, and it's important to examine those qualities together and collaborate on your goals. I look forward to supporting you on that journey.
An integrative approach, drawing on person-centered and cognitive behavioral theories, shapes how I help you become the best version of yourself. Together, we'll build a collaborative process tailored to your goals. I'm passionate about supporting you on your journey toward self-discovery and personal growth, and you can expect a supportive, judgment-free environment along the way.
My path to becoming a therapist began with working to reduce mental health stigma, promote community resources, and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. This experience deepened my commitment to bringing a compassionate, non-judgmental understanding of the complexities and nuances that often deter people of color from opening up about their struggles and seeking help – an understanding I bring to each session.
When I’m not in session, I love to crochet, cook, and bake. I also enjoy traveling and caring for my plants.
