Here to Help You Heal

As a PMHNP with years of experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, I have a passion for helping underserved populations of all kinds, including the LGBTQIA+, peripartum, perimenopause, BIPOC, adult, and geriatric communities, navigate mental health challenges. Common challenges I help with include identity issues, self-esteem, barriers to care, relationship concerns, and hormonal influences on mental health, as well as mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, personality disorders, trauma, and treatment-resistant depression.

No matter what you’re facing, I believe in providing compassionate, evidence-based, and individualized care, which helps me be a trusted and collaborative partner in your mental health journey. I look forward to helping you achieve lasting wellness, build resilience, and reach your treatment goals in our work.

My Approach to Care

Together, we'll create a safe and supportive environment where you feel comfortable exploring your mental health. I use evidence-based medication management and therapeutic techniques to help you better understand what you're experiencing, improve your symptoms, and work toward your personal goals. Collaboration and compassion guide my style, and I tailor my approach to your unique needs, experiences, and treatment goals.

While medication management is a core part of my practice, I'm passionate about including you in decision-making and exploring non-pharmacological and alternative therapies alongside standard treatment, whenever they make sense for you.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner began with helping a family member navigate mental health challenges in a society that stigmatizes mental health and in a world with few quality mental health support options. I also dealt with my own mental health challenges, which fostered my deep interest in this field. These experiences allow me to bring a unique perspective grounded in nursing, diverse clinical experience, and genuine connection with each patient to every encounter.

Personal Interests

When I’m not with patients, I love to read, walk my dog, paint, ski, travel, and spend time on interior decorating and gardening.
