Here to Help You Heal

Beginning therapy can feel like a vulnerable step, and you deserve a space where you can show up as you are. As an Austrian-American, bilingual (English/German) therapist, I know what it means to navigate different worlds — different languages, different expectations, and the quiet work of figuring out who you are within them. That experience is part of what drew me to therapy, and it shapes how I show up for you.

I’m proud to help children, adolescents, adults, couples, and neurodivergent individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. My areas of focus include anxiety, OCD, trauma, relationship dynamics, identity exploration, self-esteem, life transitions, parenting challenges, and pre- and postpartum experiences. Through a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach, I bring a multifaceted perspective as we explore the patterns that have shaped you while building a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.

Many of the people who come to me feel stuck within their relationships, in the way they see themselves, or in emotions they can't quite name. They're often looking for both relief from what's happening now and a deeper understanding of where it began. Together, we study those experiences with curiosity and compassion, creating space for new perspectives, a stronger sense of self, and meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you're working through anxiety, healing from trauma, navigating perfectionism or self-esteem concerns, untangling unhealthy relationships, or rediscovering your sense of identity and purpose, my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, gently challenged, and genuinely empowered. Therapy, at its best, is built on trust and honesty, and I am honored to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and move toward the life you envision.

My Approach to Care

At the heart of my work is a belief in the healing power of genuine human connection, because authenticity and trust within the therapeutic relationship are where meaningful change begins. I prioritize meeting you where you are, while also encouraging the self-reflection and openness that make growth possible, at your own pace.

The commitment to meeting you as an individual shapes everything about how I work. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches —Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), among others — and integrate them based on what fits your unique needs, goals, and experiences. I also hold advanced training in trauma-focused therapy and complex relationship dynamics, including coercive control and relational trauma, and bring that depth to work with people navigating some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Sessions are both insight-oriented and practical. There is space here for vulnerability, curiosity, and self-exploration, as well as for building the tools and awareness that support growth between sessions. My style is warm, interactive, and adaptive, balancing empathy with transparency, humor, and thoughtful reflection. I offer gentle challenges when they're useful, and honest feedback when it matters. My hope is that you leave our work together with greater self-awareness, a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and a clearer sense of what a fulfilling, aligned life looks like for you.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a therapist began with a deep curiosity about people and an unwavering belief in their ability to grow, heal, and create a life that feels meaningful to them. Growing up bilingual and bicultural between Austria and the United States shaped the way I understand the importance of perspective, identity, and the many experiences that influence who we become. More, being immersed in different cultures and ways of thinking from an early age strengthened my appreciation for each person's unique story and for the resilience that can emerge even through difficulty.

Throughout my life, I've been drawn to understanding how people relate to themselves, to others, and to the world around them. I've witnessed how hard experiences can shape the way people see themselves and what feels possible for their future. These observations are part of why this work matters so much to me. The background I've built across forensic mental health, community care, crisis settings, and private practice has deepened my understanding of how varied and complex those experiences can be, and how important it is to approach each person's story without assumption.

What that journey means for you is this: when you walk into a session, you are working with someone who has seen a wide range of human experience, who takes your story seriously, and who is passionate about helping you rediscover your strengths and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

Personal Interests

Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m a multidisciplinary artist specializing in hyper-realistic oil painting. Beyond painting, I find joy in pottery, crocheting, singing, and exploring new creative pursuits whenever I can. Traveling, staying active, cooking, reading, and creating a cozy home filled with plants fill the rest of my time well. I also spend time developing mental health worksheets and resource bundles to share with the broader community, because the work of supporting people doesn't have to stop at the therapy room door.

My cat, Mila, is a reliable companion through all of it
