Are you navigating trauma, depression, ADHD, relationship or family challenges, low self-worth, or a major life transition? Is it difficult finding the right words for what you're experiencing? If so, I’m here for you. I work with children, teens, and adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and the people around them, bringing warmth, curiosity, honesty, and a little humor into the therapy room. My goal is to create a space where you can fully be yourself, feel genuinely understood, and explore what's beneath the patterns that are no longer working for you. Together, we'll build practical tools, recognize your strengths, and help you feel more confident, connected, and in control of your life.
Reaching out for therapy can feel scary, especially if you're used to handling everything on your own or aren't sure how someone new could understand what you're going through. You don't need to have it all figured out before beginning. As your therapist, I want you to know there is nothing you could tell me that would make me not want to help you reach your goals or grow as a human being. I believe therapy should be a two-way process, human, and centered around who you are and want to be, not a place where someone else tells you how to live your life.
As we make sense of what you're carrying, I'll meet you with empathy, patience, and respect, and help identify changes that feel realistic for you. If you're ready to better understand yourself, feel more connected, or simply stop doing it all alone, I would be honored to work alongside you through this journey of growth and understanding.
I believe our emotions and behaviors are a guide to what's occurring underneath them. Anxiety, disconnection, conflict, or feeling stuck are usually connected to experiences and patterns that once helped us cope but may no longer be serving us. I help you gently explore those deeper layers with curiosity and without judgment, while building tools you can use in everyday life. This approach is relational, trauma-informed, honest, and strengths-based, drawing from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, attachment theory, and family systems. I'm especially passionate about helping people feel truly understood, reconnect with their strengths, and create changes that feel lasting and impactful, not just learn to get through the hard days.
Working with me, you can expect a warm, genuine, and collaborative environment where you don't have to filter yourself or arrive with everything figured out. My style is conversational, curious, and compassionate, but I'll also offer honest feedback and gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Because I'm not a one-size-fits-all therapist, our work together might include exploring past experiences, noticing patterns, learning practical coping skills, or simply slowing down and making sense of what you're feeling. I tailor therapy to your personality, needs, and goals, welcoming humor, creativity, and your full, authentic self into the room.
My path to becoming a therapist grew from a genuine curiosity about people: how our experiences, relationships, and environments shape who we are and how we move through the world. Through community-based therapy work with children and families navigating trauma, conflict, and crisis, I learned that people need more than advice; they need to feel understood, respected, and supported as whole human beings who are impacted by their varying environments. I bring that same curiosity, compassion, and openness into every session, along with honesty, authenticity, and a willingness to meet you in whatever phase of life and being you're currently at.
Outside of work, I'm usually reading sci-fi or fantasy, journaling, or attempting to write my own novel. In summer, I love camping whenever I can, tubing and paddleboarding, lounging by the pool, and taking the dogs I pet sit on hiking and mountain town adventures. I'm also always making time to Facetime friends and family in Florida, have craft nights, try a new coffee shop or wine bar, watch a horror movie or rom-com, and play the occasional RPG.
