Here to Help You Heal

As a graduate counseling intern, I help you navigate questions of identity, meaning, and purpose, especially if you're facing stress, relational conflict, or a life transition that has left you feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about your direction. I believe in the power of authentically showing up fully for another person, which allows me to be a steady, nonjudgmental partner to you as you navigate whatever brought you to counseling in the first place.

I am eager to work with people who want to be genuinely heard rather than fixed, who are ready to slow down and explore their thoughts and experiences without judgment, and who are open to examining the values and beliefs that shape their choices. Many of my patients are navigating unhelpful thought patterns or a sense that they have lost touch with what matters most to them. You may want practical tools, but you may also want room to ask bigger questions about how you want to live authentically. I see you as capable and resilient, already carrying the expertise on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offer perspective, and support the insight and agency you are working to reclaim.

Reaching out for support can sometimes feel vulnerable, particularly if you're unsure whether counseling is "for you." Wherever you're starting from, please know that you don't have to have it all figured out first. My goal is to offer a space where you can be honest, feel heard, and begin to reconnect with your own sense of clarity and direction in life. If any part of this resonates with you, I'd be honored to be part of your story.

My Approach to Care

My approach is integrative, drawing on person-centered, existential, and cognitive-behavioral techniques, and each one serves a purpose: to help you gain clarity, reconnect with your values, and respond differently to life's challenges. Sessions are supportive and nonjudgmental, with a warm and collaborative style rather than directive. I tailor the pace and focus of our work to your goals, your worldview, and how ready you feel to explore, because real healing happens when you feel safe enough to look at your thoughts and experiences at your own pace, with support.

You are always the expert on your own life; my role is to ask thoughtful questions and offer perspective as you work toward greater insight and well-being.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

Growing up in a divorced home taught me early what it means to hold space for people through challenging times, and spending my summers as a camp counselor showed me how much I love guiding others through personal growth. After graduating with a degree in finance, I spent years building professional success that looked good from the outside but left me feeling disconnected from what mattered most. That disconnection eventually transformed into clarity, with the realization that I wanted work that let me integrate my relational instincts, my desire to serve, and the impact I want to have on my community.

Counseling became the natural next step, and I saw it as a way to turn what I had always done instinctively into a calling. Today, I bring a grounded, genuine presence to each session, shaped by years of showing up for others and a belief in people's fundamental capacity to heal and change.

Personal Interests

I enjoy staying active with skiing, hiking, and fly fishing, and I like to slow down with reading, journaling, yoga, and strength training. Stargazing and spending time in nature round things out for me.
