Family, faith, physical health, and education are my priorities as a clinical therapist. I offer integrative, person-centered counseling and work with people of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on women and teens.
Drawing on both professional and personal experience, I help women move through marriage pathways, anxiety, sexual issues, grief, divorce transitions, postpartum, menopause, and trauma. For young adults, the focus is on the complexities of self-awareness, confidence, anxiety, neurodivergence, and ADHD. Whatever brings you in, the ultimate goal is to evolve ways forward that build greater resiliency and self-compassion.
I look forward to working together to map out your personalized sessions for healing and growth.
Therapy is a place where your story and schema matter, one that encourages pathways toward greater well-being. I believe the best relationships, including our professional relationship, build from trust, so I focus on creating a compassionate and collaborative space from day one where you feel heard and understood.
To support women and teens through transitions and identity shifts, I bring a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS). My training also includes somatic and polyvagal-informed therapy, which support autonomic regulation, safety, and nervous system states. These modalities, along with my own life experiences in marriage and motherhood, shape how I work with you.
Integrating these methods helps us explore the stories, patterns, and parts of you that have shaped who you are and where you want to go. I'm passionate about helping you understand and trust your own story, strengthen your sense of autonomy, and move forward with greater confidence, self-awareness, and authenticity. After all, your inner wisdom often knows more than you think.
My path to becoming a therapist began long ago and is ever evolving as I continue my education in mental health for women and young adults. Proactively taking steps toward living our best lives is something I believe in, and it takes vulnerability to address our patterns and process personal loss. Loss can take many forms throughout our lives: the loss of a loved one, a friend, or a place. It can also be the loss of the self that often comes with the messy work of overcoming. I use this ongoing education in all of my sessions to ensure compassionate, knowledgeable, and ever-evolving care.
I'm happiest outdoors when I’m exploring mountains, trails, and lakes. A longtime skier and tennis player, I'm equally at home in a quiet bookstore or settled in for an empty nester night, diving into new novels with our Labrador, Louie.
