Making that first step toward better mental and emotional health takes courage, and having the right guide makes all the difference. As a trauma-focused therapist with several years of experience, I specialize in helping people navigate trauma and grief while managing symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Whatever brings you here, my commitment is to meet you with integrity, compassion, empathy, and genuine care every step of the way. I look forward to being a safe space and providing tangible tools to improve mental health as we work toward recovery and wellness together.
Kindness, empathy, and a sincere effort to understand your unique needs and challenges form the foundation of everything I do. Being a guide toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life is a role I take seriously and one I find deeply rewarding. That’s why you can always expect a warm, welcoming environment where your personality, goals, and experiences shape the direction of our work. Using a humanistic approach alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I tailor each session to support your emotional health in a way that feels right for you. No two people are the same, and the care you receive here will reflect that.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 10 years working in community corrections. That chapter of my career gave me a profound appreciation for trauma-informed care and the transformative role that healing plays in building a meaningful life. It's what drew me to this work and continues to shape how I show up for every person I see. To each session in my practice now, I bring acceptance, understanding, and the belief that change is possible regardless of where you're starting from.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll likely find me on a yoga mat, in a Pilates class, or taking long walks outside. Time with my dog and family keeps me grounded and reminds me of what matters most.
