Here to Help You Heal

You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Our work can begin with where you are right now.

As a somatic mental health counselor, I specialize in trauma-informed and queer-affirming therapy for adults navigating trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence, mood concerns, emotional regulation, and substance use or recovery. Many of the patients I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves, or are affected by experiences that continue to show up in everyday life. I also support patients through questions of identity and major life transitions, with particular attention to building a stronger connection with themselves through affirming care for LGBTQIA+ and queer patients.

My goal is to create a space where you can understand yourself more deeply, work through what you've been carrying, and build ways of moving through your life that feel more connected, sustainable, and true to who you are.

My Approach to Care

I look at the whole person: not just thoughts, but also emotions, the body, identity, relationships, and lived experience. This means integrating talk therapy with body awareness, mindfulness, grounding, movement, and nervous system education to help you better understand your patterns, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change.

Throughout this work, my style is warm, collaborative, grounded, curious, and direct. You can expect compassion, along with support in looking more deeply at experiences and the places where you feel stuck. I believe you should have an active voice in therapy, and tailor our work to what you need while making room for complexity, humor, and being human.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path into counseling grew from a longstanding respect for how people heal, adapt, and make sense of their experiences. A background in yoga, psychology, and body-based practices eventually led me to somatic psychotherapy, and to understanding healing as something that involves the mind and body together. That perspective continues to shape the way I work with patients today.

Personal Interests

I enjoy abstract painting and drumming, along with yoga, movement, and spending time outside exploring nature.
