Are you struggling to manage heavy feelings, challenging experiences, or negative core beliefs about yourself? That's exactly where our work begins. I'm a pre-licensed clinical social worker who specializes in helping children and teens who are struggling with self-esteem and self-worth, relationship issues, abuse, and grief.
No matter what challenges you’re navigating, I believe in meeting you exactly where you are and walking alongside you at your own pace. I look forward to helping you break out of rigid ways of thinking and see yourself as more than your symptoms in our time together.
I'm passionate about helping you see yourself as a dynamic individual in conversation with your environments, not just a cluster of symptoms. We achieve this together in an accepting and thoughtful environment tailored to your values and unique life circumstances, where Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy guide your healing journey. At all times, I ensure a person-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic approach that helps you make that distinction between how you see yourself and who you truly are.
My path to becoming a therapist began with the sudden death of my father when I was 18. I struggled immensely with grief and traumatic stress until I found the right therapist to guide me through healing. That experience deepened my commitment to providing trauma-informed care for others, helping those affected by loss with compassion and sometimes a little humor when appropriate.
In my free time, I'm a freelance writer and collage artist, who also enjoys reading and music.
