As an experienced, compassionate clinician specializing in liberation psychology, my work centers on helping people from all backgrounds navigate complex trauma and the very real weight of systemic and interpersonal oppression. While I have a particular focus on supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults from underserved and disenfranchised communities, my door is open to anyone ready to do this work.
Transparent, empathetic communication is at the heart of how I connect with the people I work with. Genuine connection matters to me and, together, we'll explore both the past and the future in a space built on trust and honesty.
My passion lies in liberation from both personal trauma and systems that perpetuate harm. By taking a patient-centered and collaborative approach centered in collective action, I create the calm and intentional environment that allows you to achieve just that.
Together, we'll move through experiences of intense trauma and symptoms of struggle in a way that’s tailored to your unique understanding, experiences, and needs. We accomplish this through psychoeducation paired with somatic and cognitive engagement, with a particular specialization in body-focused healing. Whatever we work through, my style stays gently direct and centered on the best path forward for you.
My path to becoming a therapist began with my own mental health experiences and the journey I’ve taken to find my way through them. That path deepened my commitment to patient-centered care rooted in reclaiming a sense of control and agency. Bringing my own humanness into each session isn't something I shy away from; it's something I believe makes the work more real, more honest, and more meaningful for you.
Skiing, rock climbing, and good company with even better friends are some of my favorite ways to recharge. A love of video games and coffee keeps things interesting, and growing up on the coast left me with a deep connection to the ocean that never quite fades.
