Here to Help You Heal

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to navigate everything on your own. I am a mental health counselor specializing in anxiety, self-worth, and life transitions, working with young adults and adults who are facing personal growth and relationship challenges.

You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about your next steps, and want to better understand yourself, build confidence, and develop healthier ways of coping. Our work together aims to help you feel understood while strengthening your relationships and moving toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.

I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported as they face life’s challenges. As a compassionate and collaborative partner in your journey, I strive to help you move toward the life you want to build. I look forward to working together to help you gain greater clarity and create meaningful change.

My Approach to Care

I believe healing and growth happen through connection and self-understanding. This strengths-based approach guides my care, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies. Together, these help you build self-awareness and develop practical coping skills. If you wish, I also welcome faith and spirituality into therapy in a way that honors your beliefs and values.

I want you to have a space where you can show up as you are, feel comfortable being honest, and explore your experiences without judgment, at your own pace. Balancing compassion with gentle encouragement, I help you recognize your strengths while making room for the areas where you want to grow. Whether we are processing difficult emotions, exploring patterns, or working toward personal goals, each session starts with an openness to understanding your unique perspective. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin, and we can work together to work out what comes next.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

I came to counseling out of a desire to support others in their personal growth and well-being. My background as an educator shaped my appreciation for the ways people learn, develop, and face life’s challenges, and that perspective still influences my work as a counselor, where I value curiosity and meeting each person where they are. I bring warmth, intentionality, and an interest in understanding each patient’s story, recognizing that every person has their own strengths, experiences, and capacity for growth.

Personal Interests

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my dog and family, being involved in my community, and exploring my creativity through painting.
