Here to Help You Heal

Working with adolescents, teens, young adults, adults, and families, I support you through emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. My goal is to help you navigate anxiety, trauma, and difficult experiences, along with self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, and challenges with understanding and expressing your emotions.

Meeting you where you are, and collaborating with you rather than assuming one path works for everyone, guides how I show up in our work together. This allows me to be a genuine and supportive partner who listens to what you need and works alongside you to explore the goals and challenges that are most meaningful to you. I look forward to helping you feel less alone, better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and develop hope and confidence in your ability to move forward.

My Approach to Care

Our experiences shape the ways we think, feel, and cope, and understanding those patterns can be an important part of healing and growth. This belief shapes a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach – genuine, warm, and tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and goals.

Person-centered therapy anchors my approach to your care, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and play- and art-based interventions when they're a good fit for you. No matter the approach, you can expect a safe and comfortable environment in our sessions together, where you can be open and honest without feeling judged or like you're simply checking boxes in therapy. I'm passionate about helping you understand yourself and recognize strengths you may not always see in yourself, using these therapies to process difficult experiences and emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward your goals.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a therapist began in middle school, when I watched a school counselor help a close friend who was struggling with bullying and feeling like she didn't belong. What stayed with me was seeing how the counselor looked beyond academics and focused on my friend as a person, helping her feel heard, supported, and understood.

These experiences deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care where patients feel safe to be themselves and comfortable exploring difficult experiences. I bring this genuine, whole-person perspective to each session, recognizing that the mind, brain, and body are all connected and can influence our overall well-being.

Personal Interests

I love to dance as part (and am even part of a dance troupe!), and also enjoy coloring.
