Here to Help You Heal

As a mental health counselor, I work with people from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on high-achieving adults, first-generation professionals, and generational trauma-cycle breakers who want to understand themselves more deeply and create healthier patterns in their relationships and lives. Many of the patients I see often appear successful on the outside while struggling with perfectionism, anxiety, trauma, burnout, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, self-doubt, career issues, emotional overwhelm, or patterns that keep them from feeling fully connected to themselves and others. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand these patterns, build practical coping and relationship skills, and develop the confidence to create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

My Approach to Care

I bring a warm, collaborative, humanistic, and trauma-informed approach to every session, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, AEDP, Mindfulness, somatic and attachment-based approaches, play and creative arts therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples.

I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling genuinely seen and understood. From there, it can help you build self-awareness, emotional regulation, boundaries, and self-trust while reconnecting with yourself and creating healthier relationships and a more authentic, fulfilling life. We achieve this together in a warm, nonjudgemental space where you can show up as your full self with a therapist who is compassionate, curious, and engaged.

I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck, then balance that deeper exploration with practical tools, drawing from various approaches, skills, and creative interventions to help you better understand your emotions, regulate your nervous system, and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. Because family, culture, identity, relationships, and past experiences shape the way we move through the world, I tailor our work to your needs, goals, values, and pace so therapy feels personal, supportive, and meaningful to you.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a therapist grew from a curiosity about people, relationships, and the experiences that shape us. Before entering the mental health field, I studied business and worked with Fortune 500 companies, giving me insight into achievement-driven environments, career uncertainty, and the pressure to have everything figured out.

That perspective shaped who I became passionate about supporting: people navigating family, cultural, relational, and professional expectations, especially those from collectivist cultures working to reconnect with their individual voice, clarify what they want, and build fulfilling lives while honoring the relationships and values that matter to them.

I bring this warmth, curiosity, humor, and humanity to each session, along with thoughtful directness when it can help you recognize patterns and move toward change, and create space for you to be yourself, explore what matters to you, and define growth and healing on your own terms.

Personal Interests

I'm a creative at heart who enjoys travel, exploring new places and cultures, and finding inspiration through art and music. My perspective as a third culture kid has shaped my curiosity about culture, identity, and belonging. I also enjoy Mindfulness, meditation, and exploring different forms of self-care, and value experiences that bring creativity, connection, curiosity, and a little more joy into everyday life.
