If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain as you navigate anxiety, stress, self-esteem, perfectionism, identity, relationships, depression, or life transitions, you may be looking for a space to process your experiences and explore the patterns that have shaped how you see yourself and move through the world, while also finding meaningful ways to move forward. You may want to feel more confident and grounded in yourself, develop a clearer sense of what matters to you, and take steps toward creating a life that feels meaningful and authentic.
As a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor, I specialize in anxiety, self-esteem, identity, life transitions, mood concerns, and relationships for adolescents, young adults, and adults. I believe in meeting each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect for where they are in their journey, and that people have the capacity for growth and meaningful change.
Therapy can provide the space and support to better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and move toward changes that feel meaningful and aligned with what matters most to you. I look forward to being a supportive partner as you navigate challenges and take steps toward a life that feels authentic to you.
I take a person-centered, strengths-based, and integrative approach to therapy, tailoring my work to your individual needs and drawing from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), when appropriate. Effective therapy should be responsive to the individual rather than one-size-fits-all, and I integrate different perspectives and interventions to support your unique therapeutic process.
Together, we'll create a warm and compassionate environment where you feel heard and supported. My style is collaborative, conversational, and flexible, and I meet you where you are while respecting your individual pace and readiness for change. I strive to build a space where you can be open and genuine, knowing that you will be met with curiosity, empathy, and respect throughout our work together.
My path to becoming a therapist grew from a genuine curiosity about people and a desire to support others through the challenges they experience. Growing up in culturally diverse environments and living internationally deepened my curiosity about different perspectives, experiences, and ways of understanding the world, which continues to shape the culturally responsive care I provide.
I initially pursued a path in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, but realized that I wanted to work more directly and individually with people rather than supporting change from behind the scenes. Counseling ultimately felt like a natural fit, allowing me to build meaningful connections with patients and have a direct, supportive impact in their lives. I bring that same curiosity, openness, and genuine care for your unique experience to our work together.
Trying new restaurants and cafés, discovering new places, and simply exploring the city are some of my favorite things to do. Cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time in nature through hiking and other outdoor activities round out my free time. I'm also a big animal lover, and I love unwinding with a good movie or TV show!
