Here to Help You Heal

At any age, you deserve care that meets you where you are. I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in assessment, care, and medication management for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric. With 27 years as a registered nurse and two years as a practicing nurse practitioner, I help manage behavioral health needs such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders, as well as assist in navigating the confusing and difficult health system.

I believe in the power of hope, kindness, and compassion to create a strong therapeutic partnership. Every patient I serve will find an understanding and empathetic partner, with support offered without judgment. I look forward to working collaboratively with you to overcome challenges, build on your strengths, and achieve your personal goals for improved mental health and overall well-being.

My Approach to Care

I specialize in pediatric and adolescent mental health, with a family-centered approach that nurtures each child’s emotional well-being and encourages families to work together toward lasting solutions. My passion extends to helping all of my patients reach their full potential in school, at home, and in life, as I believe the ultimate goal of psychiatric care is to improve quality of life, build resilience, and develop meaningful, lasting growth.

Working together, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment, where I partner with you and your family to develop individualized treatment plans that foster well-being, confidence, and the best possible outcomes. I combine medication management with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the role of medication in your treatment and develop practical strategies for success. This approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental, one that recognizes your unique story and is tailored to your individual experiences, needs, and goals. Together, we’ll work toward greater well-being, a stronger sense of purpose, and meaningful progress in everyday life.

A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care

My path to becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner began with many years of psychiatric nursing in both inpatient and outpatient settings. These years deepened my commitment to compassionate and patient-centered care, ensuring I bring wisdom, informed care, and a touch of humor to my practice now.

Personal Interests

I’m married with three children, and we love to hike, travel, and find great restaurants. I also enjoy reading and research, music and movies, and just hanging out with my kiddos.
