Here to Help You Heal
I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing holistic mental health care, medication management, and evidence-based treatment to patients across the lifespan. My clinical focus includes anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD and concentration difficulties, PTSD, poor self-esteem, OCD, and life circumstances that are affecting your well-being. A strong background in neuroscience, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological disorders informs my comprehensive approach to care.
I work with patients of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and older adults, with a particular focus on the mental health needs of older adults, individuals who are postpartum, and military veterans and their families. No matter your struggles, I ensure collaboration and patient-centered care, and that belief shapes how I show up for you. I look forward to helping you overcome whatever barriers are getting in the way of your mental health and well-being.
My Approach to Care
I’m passionate about promoting the mental health and well-being of individuals across the lifespan, utilizing a holistic, person-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based approach. Treating the whole person means recognizing the important connection between mind, body, and spirit in healing, which is why I strive to create a safe, collaborative environment where you always feel heard, respected, and supported.
Respectful and attentive to who you are, my style adapts to your unique needs, situation, and goals. This thorough, non-judgmental approach is designed to help you feel comfortable expressing your concerns, so I can provide the best possible care.
A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care
My path began with my passion for mental health and the neurophysiology underlying human behavior. Following my undergraduate degree at Boston College, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a neuroscience concentration and a minor in Medical Humanities, I worked in a traumatic brain injury clinic at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for two years. This experience deepened my commitment to providing person-centered care, which inspired me to pursue a career in nursing.
Personal Interests
I love reading, running, spending time with my friends and family, and walking and playing with my dog.
