Therapy is a challenging journey. If you’re here and reading this, then you’ve started your journey to heal. If you chose to work with me, know that I will be there every step of the way to listen, help you share, and teach you tools that alleviate your often debilitating symptoms.
In my practice, I utilize academic knowledge, professional insights, personal experiences, and valuable resources to help adults ages 18+ navigate specific disorders and issues, such as panic disorder, domestic/intimate partner violence, substance abuse, and immigration issues. My mission is to challenge you when needed in a safe space where you can process and understand your past, determine the root cause of your struggles, and help you connect with yourself in order to resolve them.

Building trust can be a difficult, and delicate, task. That’s why I utilize strength-based therapy, where you feel empowered and in control. Through an integrated approach, I tailor care to your needs, incorporating Psychodynamic, Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral
Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative therapies, to name a few. My goal is to determine your strengths, reintroduce them to you, and show you how to use them – in other words, providing you with the empowerment to triumph through difficult times.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have more than 20 years of experience working with various populations across clinical settings, including a community mental health clinic, hospital, collage wellness center, and residential substance abuse treatment. I earned my BSW in Hungary at the University of Debrecen and MSW in the US at Touro College Graduate School of Social Work. Upon graduation, I completed a Motivational Interview training at Columbia University, as well as earned a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor certificate based on my experience with the population.
